Projects of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants often involve a comprehensive range of services. This typically starts with a feasibility study, followed by site surveying, obtaining permits, preparing the actual implementation documentation and creating as-built documentation after construction.
The most common types of services provided include:
- Feasibility studies with the development of the optimal solution.
- Documentation for land-use planning.
- Documentation for building permits.
- Documentation for construction.
- As-built documentation.
- Related services (site surveying, obtaining discharge permits).
Projects of Household WWTPs
As part of the additional services offered for our TOPAS container wastewater treatment plants we provide project documentation and handle the necessary permits for the plant. The price for preparing the project and obtaining permits is determined by the current price list. The processing time for a project typically ranges from 3 to 4 weeks (depending on customer needs) while obtaining permits is highly individual but usually takes 3-6 months.
To process project documentation, we will require you to provide the following documents:
- Order form:
- Completed and signed (serves as a binding order for the preparation of project documentation).
- Site plan with the following marked details:
- Dimensions of the property.
- Location of the treatment plant, including the distance from the property.
- Point of discharge of treated wastewater from the treatment plant – stream, pond, land application, stormwater drainage (requires approval from the stormwater drainage authority), infiltration (requires a hydrogeological survey).
- Location of existing wells on the property and adjacent properties.
- Connection of the treatment plant – mark the existing domestic distribution board or the location of the distribution board ordered with the treatment plant.
- Longitudinal profile or elevation schema (can be included in the site plan) containing:
- Terrain slope.
- Diameter of the wastewater pipe.
- Depth at which the wastewater pipe from the property is laid below the terrain.
- Depth of the treatment plant’s discharge pipe into the recipient (watercourse).
- Depth of municipal stormwater drainage below the terrain (obtain approval – in most cases, it is not possible to connect).
- Hydrogeological report only required for infiltration, but it may also be required for land application.
Based on these provided data we will prepare project documentation which includes a technical report, drawing section, and documentary section. We will provide the documentation in six copies.
Larger TOPAS container treatment plants are usually designed when they are delivered as turnkey projects. Often in cooperation with a construction company.
